Playtime! Need a couple cards this week.
Well, mister brown (UPS) finally showed up. Imagine the old commercial, the one that says open, open, open as the lady stands at the doors waiting of the Dept store with her fingers and nose pressed to the glass. That was me, saying Hurry up, Hurry up, Hurry up at my front door. It has a glass panel so I can see through it quite nicely.
I finally gave up and went about my day. I needed to make a birthday card and an anniversary card for next week and what a good excuse to play with some new goodies. It had been a rough week and I needed some therapy time. Just me and my ink, paper and scissors. I can’t just stick with 3 things though when I have new toys just waiting for a chance to show me what they have for me.
The first card I needed was a birthday card for my 8 yr old grandson. I decided since he was growing up so fast I would make a semi-grown up card. He tells us frequently he’s not a little kid anymore and he can do it by himself.
Here is the card using the new Number Of Years Stamp Set & Thinlit Dies and
the background is Balloon Celebration Stamp Set.
I had so much fun with this set I made the next card with it too. It was an anniversary card, the couple is celebrating 14 yrs. I went with the cut-out numbers again.
I can see many more uses for this Number of Years Stamp Set & Thinlit Dies.
